G.E. Development of So. Fla., Inc. was founded by the late Jose M. Garcia and Eldita Herreria-Garcia, his Widow. Mr. Garcia was a General Contractor for 30 years. Eldita Herreria-Garcia acquired construction knowledge and field experience under the direction of her Spouse. Since her husband's passing, Eldita Garcia has continued to own and operate the family business with the support of her Mother, Daughter and Construction Team. G.E.D., at the healm of Eldita Garcia, through her strong ethics and reliability, her professionalism, eye for detail and customer service, is raising the bar on what the Construction Industry comes to expect of a South Florida woman-owned Hispanic small business. She refers to this evolution as "Construction with a Lady's Touch".
Since 2000, G.E. Development serves the South Florida area by providing professional and quality Construction, Renovation and Disaster Response & Restoration services. Specializing in Shell Construction & Steel Erection, Framing/Drywall/Finish and Rough/Finish Carpentry, our team experience includes: Commercial Buildings, Churches, Schools, Hospitals, Grocery Chains and High-End Residential.
State-Licensed, insured and bondable, as well as, state licensed in Water & Mold Remediation, G.E. Development's projects range from one hundred thousand to four million. G.E.D. is headquartered on 5 acres in Southwest Ranches, Broward County, Florida. G.E.D.'s headquarters is also home to its assorted palm wholesale nursery, G.E.D. Nursery.
